We work from two beaches in the Alghero region, one is in scenic Bay of Porto Conte, with it’s wildly beautiful coast teeming with marine life, and the other is Punta Negra Beach which is within a protected area ideal for when the sea gets choppy and with access to the southern end of the marine park.
Both of these coastlines are amazing, and we will visit some truly stunning beaches far from the touristic areas.
At Sea Kayak Sardinia we organize some of the best sea kayaking holidays around.
In order to provide our customers with as much paddling time as possible we find it better to provide our clients with unique accommodation based in a local Agriturismo which offers both comfort and excellent local food and wine.
We will offer daily trips to different parts of the coast to enjoy both an adventurous sea kayaking experience as well as culinary experience and we can do some overnight camping trips as well if so desired.
We find this is also a great concept for groups and families and friends when not everybody shares the same interests.
Sea Kayak Sardinia is setting a new standard in sea kayak rental. Aside from using some of the best equipment on the market we are providing a service unparalleled in the sea kayaking world. We are renting our sea kayaks along with the expertise of our staff for supported sea kayak excursions.
We equip our clients with a SPOT GPS unit, a mobile phone, VHF Radio, local mobile phone and in addition we always have an experienced sea kayak instructor in your area 24 hour a day so we can be there to assist you if you have any problems.
We believe that in providing this service we eliminate a lot of stress from our clients who may be unfamiliar with the area, and makes your excursion in Sardinia much easier and safer while removing the stress of planning a trip.
We can also give you weather forecasts and assist you in route planning on a daily basis. Our rate for this including airport transfers to the start and from the finish point, kayak, buoyancy aid, spray deck, tent, sleeping bag and one dry bag is 70€ per person per day, minimum 3 days.
Sea Kayak Sardinia will be offering nature hikes to visitors to the Alghero area.
When not out paddling we enjoy taking hikes in the area and have found some beautiful places that we would like to share with our clients.
We will Visit the largest natural lake in Sardinia and hike the surrounding forest followed by a catered lunch with some lovely local women who produce natural foods and make amazing lunches sampling some traditional local foods.
